About This Journal

This is not a book of answers. It's an invitation to sit in the quiet long enough to find out what it actually contains.

Love & Solitude is the second reflecting journal in the series — the companion to Love & Freedom — and exists as part of the pre-phase leading into Endless, the debut poetry collection releasing in fall 2026, with the workshops, self-guided and in-person, that will follow it.

Across ten sections, the 100 questions inside ask you to reconsider two things most of us have never actually questioned: that solitude is something to escape, and that love is something to chase in order to feel whole. Instead, this journal moves through solitude as fullness rather than lack, love as overflow rather than need, the difference between what you've borrowed as belief and what you've actually experienced as truth, and the quiet, often uncomfortable work of integrating a divided self into one whole enough to give from freely — rather than a fragmented one still asking to be filled.

How it can help

Each question is followed by space to write — not to get it "right," but to notice what's actually true for you before you reach for a tidier answer. Some questions will open easily. Others — the ones about what you've demonstrated but never actually lived, or what you've called peace without ever arriving at it — may sit with you for weeks. Both are fine, and none is right nor wrong. Six original poem openings are included in the end, written in the same spare, unflinching voice as the collection itself, with room to continue them in your own words or simply reflect on what they stir.

This isn't a workbook with a finish line. It's a place to return to, one you can move through on your own or bring into the workshops ahead — a foundation for the deeper conversations knocking at your hearts door.

What you're getting into

Expect these questions to be quieter than the ones in Love & Freedom, but no less direct. Solitude, here, isn't romanticized or feared — it's examined. You'll be asked where you've mistaken being alone for being empty, where you've performed wholeness instead of living it, and where your fiercest doubts might actually be the fastest way to your own truth. This is where the real work begins — sitting with yourself, honestly, before the poems, the workshops, and the people around you ever enter the room.
