when mind spirals
We all experienced the moments of mind spiraling - it happens when “the voice” of our mind starts listing long list of reasons to “protect” us from something that is “coming to get us”. but this spiraling does more damage to us than it helps.
Real “no” is distinct and felt deeply in the body as simple and absolute no. the reasoning, the spiraling, the lists…stir the fire that multiplies the list menu faster then you can imagine.
not only do we have hard time stopping the spiral, but really quickly, we are no longer aware of what is happening and are falling under the minds influence - the influence of spiral. our body chemistry changes, our thought patterns change, our mood changes, our relating to self and environment change, everything changes. sun is no longer vital for our survival, darkness is, that pulls you in. What a powerful force.
ah, if only we can have awareness at all times on.
ah, if only we are able to jump this gun and proactively stop the spiral.
ah, if only the battle with mind can subside for a moment and give us time to breathe.
Ah! if only mind can slow down and rest for a moment? yes, exactly.
to rest. to slow down. to calm down. to quite down. to relax. to try the silence.
